Job Description:
The UPS Store in Wake Forest is looking for energetic team members who enjoy a creative, fast paced work environment. Our store welcomes professionals who are seeking a career that allows them to work closely with businesses and the community by helping customers fulfill their shipping, printing and business service needs. Ideal candidates are very upbeat, personable and enjoy engaging with customers in a team environment. Team members are responsible for assisting clients with shipping services, advising clients on our print service offerings, providing pricing and product information, recommending appropriate products and services and executing their responsibilities in a manner that meets the needs and expectations of our valued customers. The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer skills including experience with Adobe Suites programs, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. They must be a fast learner who will try to learn all aspects of The UPS Store business.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
· Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership.
· Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
· Takes action to learn all product and service offerings and industry trends in order to confidently deliver valuable solutions that meet the needs of the customer.
· Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others.
· Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
· Outstanding phone skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math.
· Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
· Able to lift 50 pounds.
