Duties

• Lead and supervise the retail sales team, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of customer service and sales achievement
• Manage store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and daily financial reconciliation
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to maintain optimal product availability and presentation
• Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to boost store traffic and revenue
• Conduct interviewing, employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled and motivated team
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues with professionalism to enhance customer satisfaction
• Monitor sales performance metrics, manage budgets, and execute operational plans to meet or exceed store goals

Requirements

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of retail math, inventory management, POS systems, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and payroll processing
• Ability to lead with confidence while fostering teamwork through effective managerial communication and leadership skills
• Experience with operational management tasks such as bookkeeping, budgeting, merchandising, stock control, and marketing initiatives
• Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques
• Basic math proficiency for retail calculations and financial accuracy in daily transactions
