Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated individuals with retail and customer service experience to join our Brooklyn team at The UPS Store. As a Center Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle package shipments, operate office equipment, and manage mailbox rentals. You'll also guide customers on our products, services, and the best-value options.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to walk-in and phone/email customers.
- Quickly learn all aspects of our business, including products and services.
- Continuously enhance listening skills with customers and team members.
- Address customer’s shipping needs and offer effective solutions.
- Operate all equipment and software efficiently, and assist others as needed.
- Maintain store dress code as well as a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience at a UPS Store or similar courier & business services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Excellent customer service and selling skills.
- Dependable, responsible, and able to lift 40 pounds.
