Job Summary:
The UPS Store is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As the face of our store, the Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling shipping and printing services, and supporting day-to-day operations. This role requires proficiency in computer applications, attention to detail, and the physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
- Process shipments using UPS systems and software.
- Operate copiers, printers, fax machines, and other store equipment.
- Assist customers with printing, scanning, and document finishing services.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily register reconciliation.
- Package shipments securely and efficiently, following UPS guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
- Restock inventory and ensure product displays are neat and current.
- Support other team members and contribute to store goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet browsing).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
