Job Description:

The Part Time In-Store Associate is responsible to deliver world class customer service to all retail customers. He/she receives and processes packages for courier shipments, operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options. The ideal Center Associate Candidate will have retail experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

The following is representative list of duties and responsibilities associated with the position:

• Provides outstanding customer service to walk in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS store team members, and leadership.
• Take ownership of customers’ needs and offer viable solutions
• Learn to operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required. You must be at least 18 years old to apply
• You must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office. Adobe suites preferred but not required.
• Outstanding phone skills
• Strong verbal and written skills. A good understanding of math and arithmetic.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Willing / able to work 25-30 hours per week. Also work some Saturdays.
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Good project and time management skills
• Selling to customers’ needs. Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Maintains a consistent professional appearance.
