Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee operations at two UPS Store locations in Kirkland and Ballard. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple locations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of leading a team to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations – Oversee store operations at both locations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to UPS Store policies.
- Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver top-tier customer service.
- Customer Service & Sales Growth – Drive sales and revenue through excellent customer interactions and upselling services/products.
- Inventory & Expense Management – Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Scheduling & Staffing – Create work schedules, manage time-off requests, and ensure adequate staffing at both locations.
- Compliance & Safety – Ensure both stores comply with UPS Store policies and workplace safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail or service-oriented store management (UPS Store experience is a plus).
- Ability to travel/commute between Kirkland and Ballard locations regularly.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and sales acumen.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.
- Experience in managing a team, handling finances, and driving business growth.
