Store Front Associate

Job Summary

The Front End Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process for customers. This role involves handling cash transactions, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized front-end area. The Front End Associate will work closely with other team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

- Previous experience in a retail environment is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

- Basic math skills

- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor

Knowledge

- Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

- English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

- Basic knowledge of retail operations and procedures

Primary Job Duties

- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.

- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.

- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.

- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area, including restocking supplies and cleaning as necessary.

- Assist with bagging and packaging purchases for customers.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.

- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
