Position Overview

The UPS Store in Yulee is seeking a reliable, experienced, and results-driven Store Operations Manager to oversee all day-to-day operations of a busy retail location. This role is responsible for team leadership, operational performance, customer service standards, and overall store execution.

The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and capable of managing a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong customer-first mindset and high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day operations of the retail center
• Open and close the store
• Lead, train, and manage staff to maintain productivity and accountability
• Deliver and uphold world-class customer service standards
• Oversee shipping, packing, mailbox services, printing, and returns
• Monitor team performance and ensure efficient daily operations
• Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor ordering
• Create and manage employee schedules
• Monitor expenses and maintain cost control
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to ownership
• Ensure compliance with all franchise standards and procedures
• Support sales growth, including development of print and document services

Required Qualifications

• Management experience in a retail or service environment
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• High integrity, sound judgement, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a The UPS Store or similar shipping/retail environment
• Knowledge of UPS Software (CMS,FRS)
• Experience with print services or sales
• Familiarity with POS systems and reporting tools
• QuickBooks or basic accounting knowledge

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing 50–75 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending and reaching

Compensation & Benefits

• Paid time off starting at one (1) week, increasing with tenure

Pay: $32,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
