The UPS Store is a small business owned center. Meaning that we are not UPS. We are a franchised own retail store that is authorized to ship UPS. Your title will be "Sales Associate".

Job description:
- Processing packages for shipment
- Packing items; Standard, fragile or custom
- Basic customer service
- Printing/Faxing/Emailing
- Cash handling
- Cleaning
- Customer service
- Phone calls
- Stacking/ sorting packages
- Lifting/ carrying heavy packages
- Answering questions
- Handling returns
- Processing internet equipment returns
- Provide notary services, if licensed.
Requirements:
- FLUENT English speaker ( Spanish is a plus)
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for shift hours
- Be teachable and a quick learner (things move very quickly here)
- Be energetic and confident (you will be speaking to customers and offering services)
- Time manager (someone who doesn't call out a lot and is rarely late)
- Computer literacy - must be able to type quickly and handle using computer systems through entire shift.
- Computer literacy - must be able to navigate through different store applications and learn their different uses.
- Willing to work 20-30 hours a week
- Must be organized and can handle working under pressure ( we are a busy store location lots of foot traffic)
- Be clean and organized, must keep a clean work environment
- Hours: afternoon shift is 1:00pm- 6:30pm (currently only hiring for store closers)
- May have to stay a few minutes after 6:30pm to complete all closing shift chores
- 5 shifts per week/ 5-6hr shifts (may vary)
- Monday - Friday we are open 8:00am - 6:30pm
- Saturday shifts are 9:00am- 3:00pm ( REQUIRED to work every other Saturday)
- Sundays we are closed
