-Must be able to become a notary, and pass any background check the state requires for the notary application

Job Description

The Customer Service Retail Counter Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operations of this retail location. He or she may be responsible for opening and closing the center. Also to manage productivity, provide customer service to all customers and monitor cost and expenses

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, one year of retail store operations experience, excellent computer/internet/software knowledge, the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.). Candidate should be reliable, responsible, friendly and punctual.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Practices good listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices.

Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Outstanding phone skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Willing and able to work 15 to 40 hours per week for a 7-day work week
