Job Description

The UPS Store on Busch Blvd in Tampa is seeking friendly, dependable, and motivated Sales Associates to join our team. Our store is one of the highest-rated shipping and packing centers in the area, known for delivering excellent customer service and a positive work environment.

The UPS Store® Centers are locally owned retail businesses offering shipping, packaging, printing, copying, notary, mailbox, and other business services for individuals and small businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to in-store customers
• Assist customers with shipping, printing, mailbox, fax, and notary services
• Recommend and upsell products and services based on customer needs
• Safely and accurately package shipments for delivery
• Operate copiers, printers, fax machines, and other office equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Open and close the store and complete daily procedures
• Keep supplies stocked and organized
• Complete required online training
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (required)
• Notary Public certification preferred
• Notary-certified associates may receive higher hourly pay
• Spanish language skills are a strong plus and increase hiring opportunities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite preferred)
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to pass a background check prior to hire

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
• Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
• Higher pay available for Notary Public certification or prior The UPS Store experience

Shift Availability

• Morning, Day, and Evening shifts
• 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
