What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at The UPS Store #245?
We are looking for extroverted individuals who love customer service and helping others! Join our team to assist customers with our shipping, packing, printing and other small business services! (Part-time only.) (Weekend availabilty is a must.)
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with point of sales systems, cash handling, and retail math.
- Strong English communication skills; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
- Demonstrates organizational skills for merchandising and stock management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks, such as lifting packages.
Responsibilities
- Take action to learn all products and service offerings and is able to offer solutions to customer transactions using that knowledge.
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and upbeat demeanor with our packaging, shipping and printing services.
- Operate POS systems accurately to process transactions, handle payments.
- Engage with customers over the phone to answer inquiries about products and services, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
