SUMMARY Overview of the position
The Associate Marketing Designer will provide creative and concept support for the Marketing Design team. Collaborating cross-functionally with the Marketing Department, this is an essential role to create, resize, or prepare graphics for print, digital ad campaigns, or for legal and brand reviews.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assisting in the creation of digital and print marketing campaigns.
- Responsible for fast-paced marketing campaign support.
- Resize established graphics for ads across multiple platforms while maintaining effective layouts, style and overall look and feel.
- Ability to deliver print ready files, attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality for handouts, giveaways, tradeshow booth banners etc.
- Manages time wisely to ensure project timelines are effectively met.
- Responsibly communicate with managers to keep all projects on schedule.
- Make important changes as needed to prepare for Legal and Brand reviews.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPEREINCE
- BA in Design or Graphic Design preferred but not required, or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 or more year experience in the field of Graphic Design or in a related field is a plus but not necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proven ability to provide professional design solutions and recommendations from concept through production.
- Designs responsively for placement, transitioning from physical collateral to digital implementation
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite products specifically strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator capabilities required.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with attention to detail.
- Excellent people skills and flexibility in dealing with changing schedules and multiple points of view.
- Ability to interface with internal department employees at all levels, team player.
- Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment.
- Hands on, energetic and motivated; self-starter.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
