Internship applicants should have a background in pr/marketing as well as extensive knowledge and interest in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok among others.
Experience:
- Work experience or educational focus in pr/marketing, social media content creation and scheduling, magazine editorial, photo editing, video reel production.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication
- Passion for art, fashion, culture, and entertainment; up to date with trends in fashion, music, and film
- Experience with programs including Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop, Canva, and Capcut (for video reels).
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain perspective under pressure of deadlines
- Fluent in English
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Assist with social media, marketing, and communications
- Assist with content creation for pr, marketing, and social media for the publication
- Assist with editing, fact-checking, and research related to communications
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media content for the magazine in line with the publication's editorial calendar.
