Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist Needed
We are seeking a highly skilled respiratory therapist to join our team at Alice Hyde Medical Center. As an integral part of patient care, this role is responsible for providing pulmonary rehabilitation care to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Our ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Description:
- Instruct patients in prescribed pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide respiratory care to patients, including setting up and operating various types of oxygen and respiratory equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Respiratory Care program.
- New York State licensed Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician or Respiratory Therapy Technician.
