General Summary
Pre-hospital: The EMT-Paramedic functions as defined by New York State Department of Health, Emergency Medical Services certification standards. Performs all duties as outlined by local Medical Control Protocols. Hospital: The EMT-Paramedic performs various duties as outlined in the Job Description, and assists staff nurses and physicians in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Medical Center. All ambulance calls will take priority over the assignment.

Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
- EMT-Paramedic certification required. Previous experience as an EMT-Paramedic preferred.
- On-line status in Mountain Lakes Region preferred.
- Meets requirements of pre-employment screening and physical.
- Holds a current U.S. Driver's license.
- Meets requirement to drive an ambulance.
- External candidates with a Paramedic Certification are eligible for a Sign On Bonus of up to $6,000 (subject to tax withholdings and other terms and conditions apply) **
