Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of the medical school curriculum and LCME requirements.
- Experience with Electronic Residency Application Service system/software and UT Medical Education Portal preferred.
- Experience handling highly confidential student information required.
- Experience speaking/presenting to students, faculty, and administration as well as to outside constituents.
- Previous event planning experience required.
- Master’s degree required in a related field (medical or education) required.
- At least 5 years of recent experience in an academic office is required, preferably in medical education.
- Experience with Blackboard and distance learning tools and development of workshops.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Must be flexible and able to manage multiple high-priority demands
- Must possess excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Able to handle stressful situations involving students in a professional manner
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Serve as a conduit to the public and community about the program
