The Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire non-tenure track, One-Year Lecturers to teach in its Bachelors/Masters, of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering program. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction in the program, advising students, and serving the college, university or local community as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered as a one-year appointment lecturer, a master's degree in
manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering or a related field of study from an Accredited institution is required. A Ph.D. in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field is required to teach graduate-level courses.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications Preferred Qualification
Teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
