The Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) in Plano, Texas, announced this month that The University of Texas School of Nursing alumna Erin Dickerman has been promoted to Vice President, Digital Innovation & Informatics/Associate Privacy Officer.
CHC noted that Dickerman has made significant impact across the organization through leadership, innovation and commitment to client success since joining in 2023.
Among her many contributions, Erin has helped shape CHC’s strategic approach to artificial intelligence and digital innovation, led key enterprise EHR evaluations and hospital technology assessments, and guided the implementation and adoption of new clinical technologies. She has also played a critical role in regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational readiness initiatives, including the development of CHC’s Downtime Toolkit to support patient safety and clinical continuity during system disruptions.
CHC is pleased to announce the promotion of Erin Dickerman from Director, Clinical Informatics to Vice President, Digital Innovation & Informatics / Associate Privacy Officer, effective June 21, 2026. In her new executive role, Erin will continue to report to Brian Doerr, Senior Vice President, Information Technology, Security Officer, and Privacy Officer.
Since joining CHC in June 2023, Dickerman has made a significant impact across the organization through her leadership, innovation, and unwavering commitment to client success. Her expertise in clinical informatics, healthcare technology, compliance, and emerging digital solutions has strengthened both their internal operations and the services CHC provides to its hospitals.
CHC said Dickerman has been an advisor and mentor to clinical and informatics teams across the organization, helping hospitals navigate complex technology, compliance and workflow challenges while building stronger local capabilities.
Dickerman holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the UT Austin School of Nursing and earned a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman's University in 2009. Her industry influence is further reflected in her foundational clinical roles at Texas Children's Hospital, MD Anderson and Methodist Houston as well as her volunteer leadership position as a Regional Director on the National ANIA Board.
