- Role Description
Help build and keep research-class ROVs and AUVs working in the ocean.
You will design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot the electrical and electronic systems that power and control these vehicles—from power distribution and sensors to wiring, schematics, and field repairs. Work spans the shop bench and offshore deployments: you will take systems from concept through component-level hardware, then support them at sea when something breaks.
You will work on a small, high-performance multidisciplinary team (mechanical, software, operations, and science) supporting research and operational missions out of the Port of Gulfport. The job is hands-on. You will own schematics and documentation, chase down faults, and make systems reliable enough to put in the water.
