Under the direction and supervision of the Director of the Office of Accessibility, the successful candidate will be energetic, able to work with a team, and exhibit a strong commitment to increasing students’ self-advocacy and self-reliance in order to assist them in achieving their full potential both personally and academically.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure individuals with disabilities, who are registered with the University, receive reasonable and appropriate accommodations in order to ensure full and equal access to the programs and services of the University of South Dakota.
- Be an advocate for individuals with disabilities and help to ensure those individuals are not discriminated against.
- Provide case management.
This position will be primarily based in Vermillion, SD, but will be expected to travel to the Sioux Falls, SD campus one or two days per week.
