What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESPN+ Production Assistant - OPS position at The University of North Florida Board of Trustees?
Department Athletics Broadcasting-OPS Compensation $20.00 Hourly The ESPN Production Assistant will assist with tasks for UNF Athletics Broadcast Operations pertaining to ESPN broadcasts. ESPN duties include, but are not limited to play-by-play and color commentary, operating broadcast cameras, handling audio, replay operator, graphics operator and technical director. May assist with any UNF varsity sporting event that occurs when classes are not in session (Summer Break, Winter Break, Spring Break). Required Qualifications Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. A minimum of a year of hands-on experience within the field of broadcast, whether it be sports, news, etc. A general understanding of sports is not required but highly encouraged. Ability to work collaboratively with others in a professional, team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills. Show initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude while assisting with broadcasts. Statement(s) of Understanding This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The individual must also assure that NCAA, Conference and UNF regulations are followed to the best of their knowledge and any violations thereof are reported to UNF Athletic Compliance.
