Job Summary
The College of Business and Social Sciences is seeking an Instructor of Finance. Candidates must be able to contribute to both the BBA in Finance program and the MBA program and should have broad competence in Finance with the ability to teach a variety of courses. Candidates who bring experience, expertise, and/or specialization in corporate finance, fintech, and analytics are most preferred. Some experience in online teaching is beneficial but not critical. Effective teaching skill must be demonstrated and is expected in both online and face-to-face classes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses during the fall and spring semesters.
- Mentor undergraduate students.
- Advise students and maintain records of student progress.
- Actively participate in recruitment and retention for the programs.
- Contribute to the mission of the program and college.
- Perform research or other scholarly activities sufficient to maintain AACSB faculty qualification status.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates are preferred to have a graduate degree in business analytics or finance. Expertise should be demonstrated through transcripts and/or professional experience.
