- The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
- Work under the direction of the supervisor of the Switchboard/Answering Service supervisor.
- The Switchboard attendant will answer all calls promptly and courteously, recording messages accurately, and deliver messages following the physicians instructions.
- Keep accurate status information according to hospital policy. Cross-train in the area of the Switchboard and maintain proficiency.
- Maintain a friendly, caring, and professional attitude toward all employees, patients and other calling parties.
- Provide a good working environment within the department to insuring a safe and clean work environment
Preferred Job Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
