Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations, establish plans of care, and assure delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice in the State of Kansas.
- Provide direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
- Promote physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
- Work under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited PT Program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Previous experience in the medical setting or a rehabilitation setting
