Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care according to occupational therapy care plans, ensuring the implementation of prescribed treatments for assigned patients in alignment with standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Kansas state regulations.
- Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
- Advocate for occupational therapy services and foster professional development opportunities within the organization and the local community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in State of Kansas.
- CPR certification.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience
