This position will assist project managers in Finance & Administration with data and process research, policy analysis, policy & procedure development, business process analysis, business process improvement design, and associated documentation. This position will assist in designing and building deliverables, supporting the review and approval of the deliverables, and working with project team members to communicate and implement the deliverables. Ideal applicants can demonstrate a practical level of knowledge of project management, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and perform research and write and edit independently.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position
Demonstrate a practical level of experience with project management, Microsoft Office Suite, GenAI tools, and systems/process documentation software such as Microsoft Visio or similar.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies
Software skills:Microsoft Office Suite, GenAI tools available for use at UGA, Microsoft Visio or similar software used to document business processes.
Technical Skills: Practical level of understanding of data flows in systems and processes. A general understanding of common business processes is desired.
Administrative Skills: Ability to assist with project tracking and reporting, creation and dissemination of meeting minutes, and assistance with scheduling and meeting management.
Communication: Proficiency in verbal and written communications. Ability to coordinate between project team members and proactively report on project progress and challenges.
Physical Demands

- Coordination & Initiation: Assist project managers to schedule project team meetings and coordinate work and deliverables between project team members.
- Research, Analysis, and Documentation: Independently perform assignments such as research of industry best practices and standards. Analyze information to find trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Draft project documents and reports. Edit and improve documents and reports based on project manager feedback.
