Job Description:
Performs various repairs, maintenance & preventive maintenance along with urgent corrective and routine repairs, which will consist of and may not be limited to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry throughout the campus and as outlined in the current CBA.
The Maintenance Worker reflects the mission, vision and values of CBRE and said client’s, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Reports in proper working uniform daily.

Qualifications:
- Communicates with prior shift and secures pagers when assigned.
- Reports to Facility Manager for campus status prior to start of shift.
- Reviews personal dashboard/community dashboard/log books/e-mail to determine assigned and requested work.
- Responds to all page’s as required.
- Carries the minimal hand tools as required by management.
- Maintains communications with the Facility Manager throughout shift on the general progress of work being accomplished.
- Operates and performs preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on various equipment, systems and structures that the facilities department is responsible for maintaining.
- This includes but is not limited to medical gas testing, bed/stretchers, minor refrigeration work, operating room equipment repairs, minor electrical work, and all aspects of plumbing and carpentry.
- Maintains, services and operates all aspects of campus storerooms.
- In emergency, life safety or related issues may be called upon to assist Engineer, Service Engineer or other.
- Follows all safety rules, guidelines, procedures and regulations as required.
- Enter and maintain the required documentation as required.
- Responds immediately to all Emergency Operations pages or calls and acts as the first responder to all customer calls and notifies the correct person to resolve the problems.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years related maintenance experience desired.
- Must have proficient knowledge in plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, minor electrical and maintenance and building operations.
- Ability to perform all duties for Maintenance Worker in accordance with the Maintenance Worker job description and all requirements outlined in the CBA
