Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Maintenance Department assistant to support the daily operations of our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will coordinate maintenance requests, communicate with contractors and vendors, track projects, maintain records, assist with budgeting and invoicing, and ensure that maintenance activities are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance requests from multiple locations.
- Communicate with contractors, vendors, and internal staff regarding maintenance projects.
- Schedule inspections, service appointments, and preventive maintenance.
- Track work orders from initiation through completion.
- Obtain and organize proposals, contracts, permits, and insurance certificates.
- Review invoices and match them with approved proposals and completed work.
- Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and maintenance databases.
- Follow up with vendors regarding project status and deadlines.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed electronically.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, based on church's needs.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
