Position: Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries
Reports to: Senior Pastor/SPRC
Position Status: Full Time
Pay: $45,000-$50,000 per year
Seeking a passionate, energetic, and faith-driven candidate to lead and grow our Student and Young Adult Ministries
Key responsibilities:
Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, and special events.
Develop and implement programs for young adults.
Build meaningful relationships with youth (grades 6-12) and their families.
Coordinate mission trip, retreats, and service opportunities.
Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers.
Collaborate with church staff to integrate youth into the life of the church.
Provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Strong personal Christian faith and commitment to ministry.
Demonstrates commitment to Christian leadership consistent with United Methodist beliefs.
Experience working with youth in a church setting.
Excellent communications and leadership skills
Ability to connect with and mentor young people.
Bachelor’s degree.
