Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Livonia, MI (100% on-site; no travel)

Overview

We’re seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to take our cannabis brand’s social presence to the next level across all major platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. This role is fully on-site at our Livonia HQ and reports directly to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media accounts through regular posts, stories, videos, and other engaging content.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to produce graphics, videos, photos, and stories that align with the brand’s visual identity.
• Handle incoming social media inquiries, providing thoughtful responses and directing questions to the appropriate team members.
• Utilize Canva, Adobe, or other web-based design platforms to create polished, visually appealing content (graphic design expertise not required, but strong visual content skills are essential).
• Incorporate 3D animations and AI tools to enhance content and boost engagement.
• Develop forward-thinking strategies to grow the brand and champion company initiatives.
• Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously improve content strategy.
• Act as a self-starter who can independently take our social media presence to the next level

Qualifications

• Cannabis industry experience is REQUIRED
• Proven experience managing Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok accounts.
• Strong background in visual content creation, including graphics, videos, and photography.
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other web-based design platforms.
• Experience using social media scheduling, analytics, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with 3D animation software and AI content tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, brand building, and digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage audiences professionally.
• Portfolio of past social media work showcasing posts, stories, and any animation or AI-enhanced content.
