The United Firm is a dedicated and dynamic immigration law firm focused on providing compassionate and aggressive representation to individuals facing complex immigration challenges. We are seeking an experienced and passionate attorney to join our litigation team, with a focus on Removal Proceedings, Habeas Corpus Petitions, and Writs in Federal Court. The ideal candidate is a strong legal writer, a skilled oral advocate, and a zealous defender of immigrant rights. As the EOIR Attorney, you will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney, you will also manage your caseload, as well as client interaction, and can collaborate with our wonderful Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in immigration court in removal defense cases.
- Draft and file habeas corpus petitions and federal writs challenging unlawful detention or agency action.
- Appear in federal district courts and circuit courts of appeals.
- Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, motions, and other filings.
- Manage caseload with minimal supervision and coordinate with support staff.
- Provide direct client representation with empathy and integrity.
- Stay updated on evolving immigration laws and policies.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in removal defense and federal court litigation
- A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with your fellow associates
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Experience filing habeas corpus petitions and litigating in federal courts
- Commitment to immigrant rights and social justice
- Record of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseload
- Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
- Admission to any U.S. state bar
