Embroidery Technician (Commercial Embroidery Machine Operator)

Our company provides embroidery services across a broad range of exciting projects, including a mix of repeating jobs, large batch jobs, and some custom orders using several commercial embroidery machines and supporting equipment.

We are looking for a creative yet focused person to operate our embroidery machines. A great embroidery technician is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards on production orders as well as specialized projects. Embroidery or sewing experience is preferred, but we will provide on-the-job training so you should have a willingness to learn and improve. You should have some aptitude for running a production process. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers and this position will need to ensure that production procedures are carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. We also provide design services and this position is important in the development process to realize these designs.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

· Evaluate, validate and complete embroidery orders

· Manage concurrent embroidery jobs

· Prepare garments for embroidery and check for quality of completed jobs.

· Manage design library for recurring jobs

· Perform minor machine maintenance/repair (with training)

· Manage machine supplies and storage

Education and Experience

· Sewing or hand/machine embroidery experience preferred

· Experience with multi-tasking while maintaining focus

· Proficiency in technology-based applications

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $21.50 per hour
