The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull, push, and carry a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast-paced position. Must be able to work outside
- Gathers soiled linen, garbage, and deposits in respective areas.
- Delivers hskp deliveries to hskp storage
- Strip beds and rooms after guest departures
- Delivers linen to hskp RA throughout the day and removes the trash and dirty linen from cart
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout shift
- Must be able to be outdoors on and off throughout shifts (our hotel is spread out on a large amount of property)
- Must be able to lift/pull/push a moderate amount of weight
- Must be able to work 8 am - 4:30 pm during week and 8:30 am - 5 pm during weekends
- Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred
