- Clean workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold cleanliness standards; perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations, managing food presentation, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace with proper ergonomic techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain knowledge of wine pairing and basic culinary principles to enhance guest experience when applicable.
- Process orders efficiently using POS systems while managing cash transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service environments, including restaurant or hospitality settings; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices.
