The Twist is a bustling community-first destination in Greenville, serving coffee, ice cream, and a few hot food options. We have been a family owned business since July of 1996 - thirty years! We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Barista to join our team. If you love coffee and making someone's day before 8am, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing
As a Barista/Shift Lead at The Twist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers enjoy an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting espresso beverages and specialty drinks to exact quality standards.
- Preparing and serving a large variety of ice cream treats with consistency and care.
- Delivering warm, efficient, and genuinely friendly customer service.
- Managing high-volume morning rushes with calmness and accuracy
- Maintaining a pristine cafe environment
- Operating our POS system accurately
- Operating as a shift lead when necessary, ensuring opening checklists are complete
What We're Looking For
We’re excited to work with individuals who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a love for great coffee and ice cream. Here’s what we’re seeking:
- Strong multi-tasking skills and a natural sense of urgency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 1 year barista service
- Reliability for early morning and weekend afternoon shifts
- Comfort working on your feet for the duration of a shift
