What you’ll do:
You love food and can create a welcoming environment. You have at least 1 year of recent experience in a high-volume restaurant. You have excellent English communication skills and the desire to work as part of a team. You are comfortable standing for long periods of time and can lift to 40 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours). Availability to work weekends or some holidays.
What You’ll Do:
Exceed standards to the highest level of expectation to ensure a pleasant fine dining experience
Know and recognize every dish on the menu, its ingredients, proper plating and ticket time
Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
Assist in final preparation and garnishes
Communicate effectively with food runners and servers to ensure food is delivered properly and timely
Relay important information between kitchen and front of house staff as it relates to guest complaints or requests
Keep the expo line and surrounding area clean and organized
Effectively signal BOH stations for every 30 minute line drill
Superior communication skills (both written and spoken) and a strong sense of urgency
Works closely with the chef’s and BOH staff
Assist the kitchen in daily preparation for service
