Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Center Director to work closely with the Center Director to oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality tutoring services.
This position requires availability from 2:30–8:00 p.m. and is a great opportunity for a retired teacher who wants to stay connected to education and continue making a difference in students’ lives. We also welcome other qualified candidates with a passion for student success.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Center Director in managing day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and support a team of tutors.
- Provide excellent customer service to parents and students.
- Conduct student assessments and develop individualized learning plans.
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
- Assist with marketing and sales efforts to grow center enrollment.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with center policies and procedures.
- Manage center schedules and resources.
- Handle administrative tasks, including data entry and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in education, tutoring, or center management highly desirable.
- Availability to work afternoon/evening hours from 2:30–8:00 p.m.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Passion for education and helping students succeed.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and backgrounds.
