What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class Deans Special Projects Student Worker position at The Trustees of Union College in the Town of Schenectady in the State of New York?

This position will work on assorted projects related to IT and technical support, documents, events, and other activities that the Class Dean’s office needs support with. This is not an ongoing position. The special projects student employee will only be hired and paid on a short-term basis, depending on the needs of our office. Department: Class Deans Location: Reamer 303 Supervisor: Rebecca Fields Hours/Shifts Available: As Needed Rate of Pay: $15.50/hr Number of Positions available: 1 Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Provide technical support for Class Deans and staff inside the office Help plan and execute Class Dean and International Advising programming, including event set-up and clean-up Put together and proofread different documents like presentations, event advertising, social media, and spreadsheets Assistance with the Community Closet and various pop ups Qualifications: Ability to set goals and work independently Detail oriented, with a willingness to learn Must have the ability to handle sensitive information with the appropriate discretion Strong communication skills (both written and oral) are required Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to take initiative Location: Schenectady, NY E-Verify Participation: Union College participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
