Trust Operations Specialist Income Desk
Job Summary
The Trust Operations Specialist Income Desk plays a key role in supporting daily operations through the daily processing of transactions associated with posting income transactions to client accounts.
Location: In-person, Wichita office
Type of job: Full-time, salaried, non-exempt
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Office Support
Responsible for accurately processing a high-volume of daily and reoccurring contributions to various types of agency, trust, and employee benefit accounts.
Responsible for processing dividend income from mutual fund custodian.
Process Certificate of Deposit purchases and renewals to client accounts.
Review and approve bank wires and ACH batches.
Ensure daily processing and control procedures are completed, documented, and properly recorded at the close of each business day.
Timely scan daily posting documentation.
Responds to operational inquiries from trust administration staff.
Assist with operational responses to audits/exams as requested.
Primary back-up for the Trust Operations Specialist Tax/Recon Desk.
Cross-Functional Expectations
Disbursements (Checks, ACHs, Wires)
Trade settlements
Cash flow management
Unique Assets assistance
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Accounting, trust, brokerage or banking experience.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to lift standard file boxes (approximately 35lb).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services (trust, legal, banking, investments, or accounting) or professional services environments.

ACT! (Client Relationship Manager)
