Responsibilities
- Supervise the front desk team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out procedures with professionalism and efficiency
- Manage reservations using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS), ensuring accuracy and availability updates
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Resolve guest issues proactively through customer service problem-solving, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Enforce hotel policies and emergency procedures, including hotel emergency protocols, to maintain safety and security for guests and staff
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to deliver seamless guest services and uphold property standards
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel or resort environments
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Proficiency in hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS)
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and client communication
- Knowledge of hotel management operations including night audit procedures and front desk functions
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to handle unexpected situations confidently
- Excellent phone communication skills, including multi-line phone system operation and phone etiquette
- Ability to solve customer service problems swiftly while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Previous experience in resort settings or hotel experience preferred for a comprehensive understanding of hospitality standards
- This role may require working nights, weekends, and public holidays based on business needs
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
