Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Clearwater, MN. As an LBM (Lumber and Building Materials) Sales & Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales activities, coordinating projects, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will actively consult with clients, oversee project timelines, provide product recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout every stage of the building process. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, strong communication, and sales expertise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Project Coordination and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to assess project needs and provide tailored solutions
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to understand and meet the needs of clients
- Willingness & Ability to make cold calls and solicite new business opportunities
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for working with both customers and team members
- Experience in Sales and a proven ability to meet targets and build lasting client relationships
- Familiarity with building materials or construction processes is highly beneficial
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- We have two compensation programs: Salary Commission and Commission Only
- Salary plus commission. Commission is based on Gross Margin. Example if you sold 3M at a GM of 25 you would earn 120K.
- Commission only. Commission is based on GM. Example if you sold the same 3M at a avg GM of 25 you would earn 150K. (moving to commission only increased pay for same sales by 30K)
- NOTE: Both programs have a sliding scale on GM payout ranging from 20 & up so earnings on the 3M will vary by landed GM (will review in interview process)
- Health Insurance: (eligable 1st of the month after 60 days)
- 401K with 50% match of the 1st 6% (eligible 1st of the month after 60 days)
