Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Duties
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, and structured educational activities.
- Assess individual student progress through observations and standardized testing; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to support social-emotional development and conflict resolution among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans.
- Support children with special needs through individualized instruction or collaboration with specialists in early intervention or special education.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields such as childhood development or special education is highly valued.
- Previous experience working in private schools or daycare centers enhances candidacy for this role.
