The Gallery Restaurant & Bar in beautiful Sisters Oregon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar and grill environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Provide attentive service by checking on guests regularly and addressing any needs or concerns.
- Assist with food preparation and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Buss tables efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, particularly in restaurant environments.
- Reliable, dependable and consistent work ethic.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
