Position Summary:

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods to assigned locations while following all federal, state, and company regulations. This role ensures timely deliveries, maintains accurate records, and provides professional customer service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Check invoices against the products ordered and shipped.
• Must Maintain an accurate detailed delivery log.
• Cleaning and maintenance functions of delivery vehicles.
• Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service in dealing with customers.
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating practices when handling materials and equipment
• Reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Following established procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
• Participating in training programs and safety meetings as required.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license class A or B as required by DOT.
• Must meet Supply Source Driving Standards of our fleet safety program as provided at time of interview and maintain those standards throughout employment.
• Must be able to safely drive product to customers on established routes, utilizing route numbers to identify correct customer.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must be able to meet and fulfill all regulations and requirements for truck drivers as specified by the DOT.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employee will travel in company vehicle daily.
