Position Type:Per Diem (Part-Time/Casual) based on training needs and instructor's availability; Hours are not guaranteed.
Schedule: A flexible schedule that can include morning, evening and weekends
Location:Training sites in Allegheny, Butler and Beaver counties
Compensation:$30/hour; plus mileage reimbursement (60
miles, round trip); reimbursement for tolls and parking will also be provided.

Summary of Position:
The primary responsibility of each Instructor is to conduct, in person American
Heart Association, Basic Life Saving (BLS) and Heartsaver CPR AED/First Aid
trainings. Instructors also must ensure that each student has anenjoyable, productive, and meaningful experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct First Aid and CPR training classes for individuals and group
- Follow established AHA lesson plans and instructional materials for courses
- Provide clear and concise explanations of CPR & First Aid techniques and procedures
- Demonstrate proper techniques for administering life saving skills
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage participants and facilitate
learning - Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Assess participant performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with current guidelines and practices
- Maintain responsibility for instruction and classroom management
- Capable of tracking attendance and reporting each training session to the

Qualifications and Experience:
CPR Instructor Certification (Preferred)
CPR Certification (Required)
Valid PA drivers license and reliable, insured vehicle (Required)
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Two years of experience in adult education and training (Preferred)
Healthcare Experience (Preferred)
