What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at The Trailhead Restaurant & Bar?
Currently seeking someone who has line experience and can work in all areas. Almost daily deliveries to keep up with prep and quality. Line positions are grill, sauté, fry & expo. We all prep and dish in the am. Pm is mainly line other than the 5pm dish shift which is usually a 6 hour shift. Prep shifts are mid shifts and line rush shifts. We have been in operation for almost 14 years and have a wonderful reputation. Annual winners of Mountain Xpress "Best Of". Busy year round and plenty of hours. Core staff have all been here over 6 years. Staff meals, flexibility, room for growth, and cash tip out. Located in downtown Black Mountain.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to the customers' needs and preferences.
- Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.
- Follow kitchen safety protocols.
- Conform to standard food safety regulations.
- Have knowledge of different cooking techniques.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
