Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using POS system, ensuring quick and friendly service.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout your shift.
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling cash register operations with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, demonstrating product knowledge confidently.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling and safety practices.
- Maintain sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing retail sales transactions and ensuring smooth service flow.
Skills
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly valued, along with general food industry knowledge.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
- Experience in food preparation, food handling, sanitation, and serving within a restaurant setting.
