Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and glassware are sanitized and stocked.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and sales recording.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Support event setups like nightclubs or banquets by serving drinks promptly and managing multiple orders seamlessly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while managing time effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a bartender is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems for sales processing.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using excellent time management skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and understanding retail math concepts.
- Experience in food handling, serving, catering, or food industry roles is a plus.
