What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Power Line Technician position at The Town of Tarboro?
Candidate will perform electric line maintenance and construction work for
the Electric Department. Candidate must be able to operate equipment and
powerline tools. A high school diploma or GED and a valid NC Driver’s
license are required to apply. Candidate will need to obtain a NC Commercial
driver's license within six months of employment. Upon hire, practice time for
CDL will be allotted. No experience necessary, will be willing to train.
Excellent benefits and starting salary is $45,311 annually ($21.78/per hour).
